Final Shipment from Pembroke Port
Yesterday (February 27th 2009) saw the final shipment leave the Port in Pembroke Dock destined for Karachi, Pakistan.
The shipment was the final one to leave Pembrokeshire and contained the last of the columns, exchangers, ducting, steelwork, structures, and furnaces from the ex-Petroplus oil refinery in Milford Haven.
The remaining pipework on the refinery is set to be dismantled and loaded into containers destined for Bristol where they will be shipped to Pakistan to complete the dismantling project.
